I have a stress fracture on my L-4. It has been a recurring injury, and it is definitely a fracture the doctor says. I usually work out everyday weight lifting and running. So im asking what kind of upper body exercises can i do?

I may have a stress fracture in my lower back. It’s near the bottom of the vertebral column (called the lumbar). What would the treatment be for this? (Ex: How long would it take to heal? Would I have to wear a brace? What would be my allowed range of activity?)
