medicalmassage-ceu.com In the DVD volume 4 Boris provides a detailed verbal explanation followed by on screen caption commentaries at the time of hands-on performance. He teaches how to perform region specific self-massage for painful lower back region, including trigger point therapy, application of hot stones and ice, post isometric relaxation techniques, and rehabilitative exercise. This DVD is designed as a home study educational program and containing theoretical as well as practical parts. It’s easy to study and you can use offered techniques immediately. If you sustain lower back injuries during sports activities, car accidents, work either caused by a repeated motion and/or by performing any work that strains lower back, this program could be effective to help yourself feel better. It could also be very beneficial in preventing possible complications like herniation of disk, degenerative disc diseases, and acceleration of osteoarthritis development within spinal joints, spondylolisthesis and more. If you dont have time and money for 12 to 15 visits to a rehabilitation facility necessary for a complete rehabilitation, this DVD is the invaluable alternative. Boris DVDs stands apart from many other back massage videos and offer a variety of wonderful and simple back and full body massage technique. Medical massage isn’t Swedish or erotic massage. It was developed by various scientific institutions in the countries of the former Soviet Union and other former Soviet …

medicalmassage-edu.com To purchase DVD please click the link above For some reason, massage therapists that specialize in treatments of sport related injuries are calling this method sport massage. In my opinion, if someone sprains/strains the lower back, upper back, shoulder, knee, etc., by playing sport or working at home, or at the workplace, the pathology that will be developed due to kind of injury disturbing orthopedic status. Utilization of massage in cases of back and limb disorders we call orthopedic massage. There is no doubt that there is huge room for orthopedic massage available in sport rehabilitative medicine. It is proven that orthopedic massage therapy is a very effective tool in treating sport-related, industrial injuries, as well as helping people experience less pain in cases of degenerative diseases of the support and movement systems such as osteoarthritis, degenerative disc disease and other types of spondylosis. Really sport massage that is utilized only in industry of sport is a pre-event sport massage and post-event rehabilitative sport massage. These two types of massage therapy are very important efforts in order to improve the athletes performances, to prevent to a maximum extent, sport related injuries, as well as to eliminate side effects of exercise stress/overtraining. 20 years ago, training in sport massage was limited to massage therapists who worked with professional teams, Olympian teams, etc. Nowadays, sport massage has value not only …

I found out about 3 or 4 years ago that I have an extra lumbar vertebrae (L6), as well as slight scoliosis. I used to play softball and volleyball but I had to quit because of back pain. I’ve been to physical therapy, a chiropractor, more physical therapy geared towards strength training, and a deep tissue massage therapist. Nothing has worked as a long term solution, the massage therapy worked for a day or two afterwards, but not long term (plus it was expensive). Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions?
