Lumbar Back Pain.
I started exercising and have been doing sit-ups and crunches, but I get a nice amount of pain in my lower back. Is this temporary or permanent? Are there exercises I can do (without equipment) to improve my lower back muscles and make this pain go away?

I like walking in the country but it’s spoiled as my lower back starts to hurt after about 5 minutes. It also happens when shopping or if I stand for any length of time. It eases immediately I sit down or sometimes when upright I bend forward and stretch my lower back muscles which helps. [...]
