I have a light beige carpet in my living room, not very deep nap. Unfortunately, I had an easy chair in the same position for some time (couple years) and the evidently sharp supports on the back of the chair dug two very narrow holes (maybe pencil-end size, maybe a little smaller) in the rug. We have an oversized sofa that we planned on tearing apart to remove from our tiny 3rd floor living room (we hoisted it up 3 balconies to get it upstairs, which cracked a back support on one side). It’s a nice two seat (92") sofa and we’d like to attempt converting it to a chair. [...]
