What is the cause? Back pain lower lumbar referred to testicle/groin.Doc says pinch nerve and prednisone?

X-Ray says no bone spur, etc. Doc doesn’t seem to concerned, but I am. I have never had such an odd pain. I feel tightness/soreness in Quad, slight numbness/heaviness in right leg as well.
