I am willing to bet that your SI (sacroiliac) joint is out of alignment and putting stress on your sciatic nerve. You could go to a chiropractor who should be able to put it back in place (assuming that’s the cause) in a few treatments. If the chiro doesn’t work in a few treatments I would then try to see a physical therapist. A PT can show you exercises to strengthen your core muscles to support your back.

Sounds like a pinched nerve somewhere. You’ve had an MRI, what about a CT Scan? Ask your doctor about this. Have you tried going to a chiropractor? Lots of possibilities. Your dr. or chiropractor may give you some simple exercises to start slow with and build up. This will help improve your flexibility. You may need physical therapy too.

You should have an orthopedic doctor look at your MRI results to make sure there is no bulging or herniation of the discs in your spine. If you do not have bulging or herniated discs, you could be having pain from the nerves being pinched from tense muscles. I experienced this in my right shoulder and right arm after a rear-ended car accident left me with whiplash. I didnt have herniation, only slight bulging but still had this pain, the pain you are describing. If your orthopedic doctor is not helping you, you should try a chiropractor. If you do not believe in chiropractic medicine, get your orthopedic or neurologist to write you for physical therapy. PT may be able to give you therapy to help relieve the nerves. Since it is in your lumbar spine, it sounds as though your sciatica nerve is pinched. Do a search on the internet to look up this nerve. Good look

How long ago has the accident happened?? Maybe it’s brusied. They say some brusies are worse than an actual break.
