SERIOUSLY NEED some help/advice with low-back/lumbar pain problem.?

ok so about 6 months ago i had a squatting accident which messed up my lower back for a few days then the pain subsided and only came back once or twice but recently my lower back has been killing me…..i have been gaining mass from working out allover my body but have been seriously neglecting my lower back muscle because im afraid i will irritate it doing absolutely no lower back exercises for strength……..these last few weeks my lower back has been killing me after my LEG day and im wondering if this is dew to the past squatting incident or most likely that my lower back muscle is unbalanced with the surrounding muscles????

In some cases a herniated disk won’t show up immediately, but rather months later. If you begin to have tingling, numbness, etc down either of your legs you should go see a Neurosurgeon ASAP. Many back issues are caused because people neglect their abdominal core muscles. You could of torn a ligament. This is painful, and can reoccur. I would heavy focus on doing just that because that is what holds up our upper body, then work on your back, lightly. I had a tendency to neglect my back because I injured it, well by doing that I became weaker and weaker. If there is damage, your body automatically will compensate for the injury, thus putting more strain in the other or surrounding areas. So really focus on your core. Stop doing squats. There are other excises that will do the same thing. Squats put a huge amount of pressure on your disks and if you make one small wrong move, you could end up with a herniation with a life time of pain. There are no 100% fixes for fixing herniation surgically. Matter a fact only 50% of surgeries performed on herniation work. Remember one thing take care of your back because once you have back pain, its there to stay forever. Good luck

You could have a bulging disc, that is being irritated by lifting too much weight.
You really don’t want to avoid doing lower back exercises though, that will only make the problem worse. When you go to physical therapy for back pains, all they will have you do is core strengthening.
Stop doing any exercises that cause pain, and try to strengthen your core as much as possible.

Try a heating pad to relax your muscles, lay flat on the floor, even try swimming to stretch a little. You could try rubbing it or massaging that area that is in pain, have someone else massage it for you. maybe you need physical therapy… Good luck
