Did you or do you experience low back pain in the 3rd trimester? Is it normal?
I’ve been having low back pain for about 2 weeks already and I was wondering if it’s normal…
It’s listed as a labor symptom so I’m just wondering?
I’m only 29 wks by the way.
First of all, try to avoid getting the pain in the first place – take regular breaks, make sure your seat is adjusted optimally, and so on. Basically all those things they told you to do on your orientation course. In case you don’t work for a large multinational, and in the event you didn’t have a fancy orientation day.
Its normal – don’t worry.

i’ve been having it in the 1st trimester, but my last pregnancy i did with my daughter at 36 to 39 weeks. so it could be labor. but i don’t know what’s causing it in the first trimester.
yeah, i have it too, i think its related to my constipation. also she could just be pushing up against a nerve.
its normal. i have had back pain since about 26 weeks i think. now it is worse. im 36 weeks pregnant. good luck
DUH! How is it you could think you have all that extra weight and it NOT be normal? Pretty silly question when you really think about it isn’t it?
It’s normal… depending on how the baby is positioned… it’s putting pressure on your lower back. Try repositioning yourself while you’re sitting or lying down to take the pressure off that area. Sometimes it works, sometimes nothing works. You can bet once the baby is out, that pain will go away… and new ones will start!

I am on my second child and for both i have experienced back pain if i stand for too long I find that when i get home after work i need to relax and keep my feet up most of the time until i go to bed.
It is normal. Your muscles are being stretched to the limit. If it gets too bad, you should check with your doc. But I am sure there isn’t much they can do about it. I had bad back pain and they gave me a nonstress test. Just to make sure it wasn’t labor. Just find a comfortable postion and stay there.
Good Luck
