Dealing with Lower Back Pain

So apparently, I have arthritis in my lower back. A spinal disc (L5 disc) in my lower spine is deteriorating, so everything is super compressed. On top of that, I also have osteophytes, which means that the edges around the lower spinal bones are abnormally sharp. This equates to major nerve pinching, which cases a lot of pain and pain running up and down my legs. The doctor suggested I do 3 things: 1. Start swimming 2. Sleep on a hard surface 3.     I have really bad lower back pain too and swimming definitely helped. I also tried yoga too and I felt better after that, dunno if it’d be as effective with you since it’s not a muscle issue and more of a spinal problem. =\

    I also have back pains, upper part mostly and also the neck. I had a sikness when I was about 18 which was not observed by my parents which resulted in massive injuries in several disks, mainly in the upper part. I know how painfull it is and I hope that you get better ;)

    yeah i have some issue like that i have osteoarthritis .my cartilage between the knee and pretty much on all joints are teared which make my bones grind on each other . It did cause pain but i didn’t get much because i’m 14 and i have a pretty good immune system . But i did took cod liver oil tablets from Seven Seas it did stop the most tiniest bit of pain i recommend it for u cause it is also good for good health. Also try Swimming it helps.

    Do hyper-extensions and flying superman, they help :) it strengthens your back.
    Instead of lifting weights, do pull ups and push ups… they do fine too :)

    Hi jon, have you tried taking cod liver oil capsules. This should help alleviate the pain in the long run! I have been taking it for over a year now and it has helped alot!

    I hear you man I been dealing with my back pain for over 12 years now. I just gave up on all the Doctors I have seen. The last one I seen was a surgeon claimed I was to your for Surgery whats that all about 30 to young ??? I have D.D.D from my L1 to 5 also I have 2 compression fractures in my T11 &12 I get the pain down the legs. I have also noticed my legs feeling a bit weake also now days I just deal with the pain dont take meds gave up on them also dont work also the epidurals. This SUCKS!!

    i’m ot suri it ill work for but it did for me, even though i don’t have arthoritus i did mess up a disk in my lower back, try rolling up a pillow and laydown on a flat surface ad putthe foled up pilo underneath yor owe back. also try a memory foam matress if you hav one, they releve alot of presure in your ack, did me wonders and still does!, other than that the final thing i can think of is, wll basically what was said in our video, good luck!
