I guess you kinda need to be alert when you're playing, and anyways you can't really lean back on a chair while playing. Some stools, however, do have cushions. But usually people use benches.

If you are looking for a pillow to support your back in bed, a wedge pillow or a reading pillow (bedrest pillow) might be best. A department store like Target, Sears, or Walmart should have bedrest pillows. Those stores may have wedge pillows as well, but you may need to go to a specialty store (like Bed, Bath & Beyond, or maybe a Mattress City) to find them.

Your posture could well be having an influence on the pain in your back, but there could be other possible causes. You might want to visit your doctor or someone like a chiropractor who should be able to pin down the source of the problem and recommend what action to take. You might find this useful - http://bit.ly/15iZmd

Yeah, this is one that yoga cannot help. You have a pain that is coming from a pinched muscle and it needs to be released so you can be pain free again. To do so isn't that hard, just follow this exercise:
Back:
Place your left hand on your left knee. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and with your fingertips find the muscle next to your spine. Press on it and hold. Relax, take a deep breath and exhale and don’t tense up any part of your body. After about 30 seconds there should be a release happening and when it does slowly lower yourself forward onto your right leg or even over it if you can, the more over the better it is. Continue holding for a total of one minute. Then release but rest your body there for one minute longer. Then reverse and do the right side.

My chiropractor said most neck pillows are too large. He said the best thing is to roll a towel into a roll, experimenting with rolling it just the right amount that is comfortable for your neck, then cutting it and taping it with soft tape or sewing it so it does not unroll during the night. Mine gives the best support at a bit over 3 inches.

Check with Tempur-Pedic.com, Mediflow.com, and CoreProducts.com. People also recommend water pillows (waterpillowonline.com). Good luck.

I too am laying in bed right now unable to sleep because of the pain my brace is causing me. This is my third brace though so I know the importance of wearing it because of WILL help. Just ease in and take some motrin. Also be sure to sleep on your back. Give it time and it will be better. Good luck. I'm sixteen by the way.
