The department store had hangers piled between clothing racks that were pushed close together so I couldn’t see the floor. No, I didn’t walk where I shouldn’t have. The isle was so you could browse the clothes on the two racks. I stepped into the pile of hangers, couldn’t get my footing because of the mass amount of hangers and took a bad fall. Two herniated lumbar disks later and my quality of life is severely effected, might need surgery, medical bills, MRI reports that support the injury is from trauma, along with the doctor saying it isn’t degenerative, and the store wants to settle for K. I’m thinking it should be a lot more than that. My attorney wanted to settle for K max but I disagreed and he withdrew from the case. I’m in my 50s, a little heavy but fit and didn’t have back trouble before this fall. What do you think?
***For those NOT paying attention: I did NOT admit to stepping where I shouldn’t have – please read more carefully if you are going to submit and answer***
