1988 Dodge Caravan front seats no neck rest, whiplash possible, best remedy?
1988 Dodge Caravan I drive has seats that are low with no neck rest or adjustment. I fear if rear ended or accident, injury would be severe. Not sure where to start and save money for solution to possible severe whiplash. Either get new seats, expensive. Or put a peice of wood and tape it with pillow for neck support, legal issue possibly for me. How should this be handled?
Check the salvage yards for a later model Caravan, Voyager, or Town and Country front seat with the built in head/neck rests that will interchange with your front seat tracks or trade for a later model.
dude go to a automotive recycle yard and buy replacement seat ($30-$50 each) i hope this could help you…..DONT USE WOOD AND A D pillow for a neckrest

1. either try and find some universal ones at your local auto parts store, walmart, target or ebay.
2. dont worry about this, the vehicles seats are just fine and you will be too.
3. dont make any wooden ones because you will probably hurt yourself worse.
