Which are the useless items you had for pregnancy or your baby?
My lousy items list:
Manual breast pump
Lamaze Spin and Explore Garden Gym
Philips Avent Isis Manual Breast Pump (the worst & cruelest item ever made for any mother!)
Lower back support belt during pregnancy
Walker
Bumbo chair
I agree: the bottle warmer is completely useless. Its faster if you use a hotter cup of water. the baby carrier, baby room thermometer, baby monitor/radio all were waste of $ as well.
diaper genie
wipes warmer
The most useless thing I got for my baby was a diaper genie. We used it only once or twice and then sold it at a garage sale.
My useless items include a wipe warmer and bottle warmer. My son honestly couldn’t care less that his wipes are cool, and that his bottle is at room temperature. A hungry baby will eat no matter how cool or warm their formula is. Those two items are pointless and uselss for me.
omg i agree on the philip[s breast pump and a crib my daughter hated it i saved it as it cost alot of money will go to grandkids one day
the only thing i can think of would be his walker.
they are so dangerous.
we just lock the wheels and let him play in it like an exersaucer since we didnt get one.
Bumbo chair
Bottle warmer (both home-based one and a car warmer)
Maya baby sling (I, too, never felt she was secure in it)
Evenflo back and front baby carrier (she HATED it)
Infant bathtub liner (the tub was fine on its own without the liner)
Newborn sized clothing (she was born at nearly 10 pounds and went right into 3 months-sized clothes).
"Crib shoes" (what’s the point??)
Cocoa butter for stretch marks (I got them anyway, they say it’s all about your genes, nothing to do with what you put on your skin)
Baby hats (she would pull them off after about 3 seconds).
So far the bottle warmer and pack n’ play are the only useless items we have. My daughter is 2 months old though and I expect to use the pack n’ play when she gets older.
His swing…he hates it.
LOL! I know what you mean about the manual breast pump…it’s just awful…couldn’t use it either! I also never used…
1. Changing Table…it just became another place to throw things.
2.I Never once used the Diaper Genie…what a joke that thing is…more trouble than it’s worth.
3.I used the Hanging Bouncer Gym ONCE…my SON flipped upside down in it…well that thing went into the trash!
If they can sell it they will make it regardless of how useless it is!
Oh, we LOVE our bumbo chair! My son’s head is a little misshapen since he always sleeps with his head to one side, so I try to let him sit in it a lot during the evening while we play with him and give his little noggin a rest.
Lousy items:
front carrier
baby sling I paid $50 for and have not used once because I don’t feel secure with him in it
any clothing that is too hard to get baby in or out of, or doesn’t snap for easy diapering.
All of these were given as gifts and I didnt use them at all:
Manual breast pump… uhg they dont do anything!

Disposable diapers (i used cloth)
A single baby stroller and I had twins!
The Most useful thing ever? A washer and dryer!
