Lower back support brace?

Hello,
I’m looking for a lower back support brace for my mother. I’ve seen some online but the one she wants is short (Doesn’t go too high up the torso), has padded support in the back, and has soft material. Does anybody know of a good one? My mother has osteoporosis and is really in need of this as she works at the post office lifting heavy bags all day. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

In all honesty, a back support is only a band-aid to a growing problem. Back Braces are only a mental reminder that you need to keep good posture and will make the back weaker. I suggest using some back strengthening exercises for the inner core abdominal muscles. These are the root cause for minor and major back issues. People hurt them and tend not to use them as much, thus making them weaker. Even with osteoporosis one could carefully perform these exercises. I think in the end you will have the best results. A good program to use is Winsor Pilates. It would serve your mother well. Good luck
