Help w/ lumbar puncture results…neutrophils, lymphocytes, rbc?

After a fall several years ago I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I have muscle pain everywhere but most of my pain is in my spine. It always feels like it is on fire. Doctors won’t give me anything for the pain because they can find no reason for the pain. I have been tested for everything and of course everything is negative.

MRI’s of my brain showed lesions but it was assumed these were actually interference from the braces on my teeth. The braces have come off, new MRI’s were done and more lesions were found. So , I was sent for a lumbar puncture to check for MS. Most everything was normal on the results except for:
Neutrophils 23 (normal 0-2)
Lymphocytes 51 (normal 63 -99)
RBC 99 (normal 0-5)

I don’t fell sick, no colds or infections. I am just in pain all of the time. I do have issues with memory loss, balance, fatigue, numbness and tingling, etc.

Any ideas what these results might point to?

Thank you

it sounds like you might not have Fibromylagia-

many docs use it as a trash can diagnosis-to brush patients off-

if you do have MS-that could’ve caused the fall

it sounds like your doc was INCOMPETANT-like most docs when it comes to paying attention and diagnosis of pain-

after you find out what this is-you should go to a doc that is competant to diagnose Fibromyalgia-you may have never had it-it may be something different like MS-

make sure the doctor explains how it is both another condition and Fibromyalgia-

if he says just because of teh pattern of pain-get out of there fast-the pattern of pain could be many things-

the doc needs to know how to do a tenderpoint exam-

in the US you can email

    kindness@fibrobetsy.com

for a list of docs recommended by other patients-she removes bad docs from her list (unlike other so called good doc lists)
