Back Support Brace Or Belt
Back pain maternity belt questions?
Hello. I saw the doctor today and asked about back pain that I had. She told me to try a maternity belt / key / something. Have you tried something? Is there a particular type or brand that works for you? Thank you very much.
I had two different classes. I got one from my OB-only an elastic belt that was under my belly, making a kind of "platform" for my belly seating. I ended up having to go to physical therapy because it did not help all that much because I also had problems with my hip. I have a continuation PT that held my hips in place and also supported my belly. It has provided some help when I was at my feet, but as for the rest of the time, sitting or lying, still had pain. Chiropractic have helped more, for he / hip pain in the pelvis and back pain than any of the belts did. Moreover, exercises and massage I received physical therapy helped a lot too. This is just my experience. I am sure that the work of other women belts, and appear to be big sellers. However, for me, I would have saved my money and went directly to the PT or a chiropractor. Many chiropractors specialize in pregnant women if it is an option you could consider. Besides, I prefer the low-impact technique instead of the traditional "cracking." low impact uses a combination of pressure points and massage to get your body properly realigned rather than forcing your body again.
